UPDATE: our Bookstore Rent Fundraiser has crossed the $8,500 mark. We are officially at 42% of our goal of $20,000 to cover the bookstore rent for the year. I really appreciate you all for the random acts of kindness every single time. Thank you for being a part of our story!

We are excited to announce a call for submissions for our upcoming horror/sci-fi anthology set in Kansas City at the center, which we will publish and release in the fall.

Have you seen this classic indie film? This month our Free movie of choice is the drama comedy classic, Losing Ground (1982). Fondly referred to as the first film directed by a Black Woman. Directed by Kathleen Collin.
