Welcome back to another week of bookish and Black and Brown happenings.
Happy June Friends! If you’ve been tuned in then you know June is BLK + BRWN.’s birthday month! This year we are celebrating THREE years of business with something a little bit different. Instead of our annual Block Party — this year we are hosting a month-long bingo styled crawl. I’m so grateful for all the love and support over the past three years. Truly this bookstore would not be around still without the incredible ecosystem behind us! Thank y’all!
New Store Hours
We have interns helping out for the summer. So we have some exciting news… At long last! The store will be open longer throughout the week!
UPDATE: our Bookstore Rent Fundraiser has crossed the $8,000 mark. We are officially at the 40% of hitting our goal of $20,000 to cover the bookstore rent for the year. I really appreciate you all for the random acts of kindness every single time. Thank you for being a part of our story!
