We’re back with another week of bookish things, and other happenings around our way. So let’s talk about this week and next at BLK + BRWN.!

A Letter from The Local Book Pusher…

🎉 Hey good Humans!! 📚✨ Guess what? The Local Book Pusher (yours truly) turned 30 this year, and I've got an ask that can be given all year long that involves YOU! 🥳🎂

This year, instead of a traditional birthday gift, I'm asking for donations towards something that helps the community–our Rent Fundraiser that will help keep BLK + BRWN.'s doors open! 🏡💰

Our goal? A whopping $20,000 to cover our rent, support our incredible staff, and continue to host very events for our community throughout the year. 🌟📆 Imagine the impact we can make together – a cozy haven for bookworms, a hub for local creators, and ultimately a safe space for our community. 📚

✨ Why now? Well, this milestone birthday has me reflecting on the incredible journey we've had together, and I can't imagine celebrating without my book-loving community. -- but let's be real -- BLK + BRWN. has functioned for three years without the help of any grants or loans and that my friends is extremely stressful. It's time we start getting proactive. I am forever grateful for how much love you all have shown to my dream and me by extension. Thank you! Every contribution, big or small, gets us closer to our dream. 🤗 Whether you can spare the cost of a latte or go all out with a birthday-sized donation, your support means the world to us. 🌎❤️ Let's keep the magic alive in our beloved bookstore!
