Hey Good Humans!

We’re back with another week of bookish things, and other happenings around our way. So let’s talk about this week and next at BLK + BRWN.!

In preparation for our Author Talk at the end of the month, with bestselling author, Tananarive Due, we are reading the soon-to-be released, The Reformatory.

A gripping, page-turning horror novel set in Jim Crow Florida that follows Robert Stephens Jr. as he's sent to a segregated reform school that is a chamber of terrors where he sees the horrors of racism and injustice, for the living, and the dead.

World Fantasy Convention 2023 Scholarships

The scholarship would include: a membership to the convention, a hotel room for Thursday, Friday and Saturday (we only have a few rooms so first come first served), and a ticket to the banquet. All attendees also get a free bag of books. The registration deadline is TODAY!
